English Major/ Future English teacher. And before you ask, yes I am weird like every other great English teacher! I hoard books and kind of having a book buying problem. I will review books when I get the chance to read them and occasionally talk about my readings that I have in class. So please follow me down the Rabbit Hole. And remember, We Are All Mad Here.

The Goddess Hunt - Aimee Carter It was really great to read from Henry/Hades point of view for part of the book. It is a really quick read but I really enjoyed it. Definitely read this book if you enjoyed The Goddess Test.
If I Stay - Gayle Forman This was an amazing book!!! At first I was torn between liking it and not liking it. After I had gotten a little farther in the book I fell in love. The story line, the characters, and the music came together so beautifully. I have no idea what I would choose if I was put in Mia's position but I was rooting for her the entire book. When her grandfather came in and talked to her, I lost it. To think of how he felt, "Dear Lord can I give that man a hug?". If you are even questioning reading this book, buy it now!!!!!!!

The Selection

The Selection - Edit: I just happened to see this books rating when I was looking through my read books... How did the rating get to 4.2 stars? It was 2-3 stars forever! Something seems strangeThis review was written without a bias against the author whether she deserves it or not! This book was ok. Sometimes I thought I could like it. Other times I was ready to just chuck it at a wall. The thing that got me in the end was the author notes.( Yes I know I am a nerd for reading those) The author wrote her acknowledgments like she was three. I quote, "for realzies" I mean really. That is the reason I went from three stars to two stars. Use your brain Ms. Cass. I have never really been a fan of the Bachelor. It is just one of those reality TV shows that I don't really enjoy. I will give it to Ms. Cass though. This book is probably fantastic for any Bachelor fan. I will admit that there were parts in the book where I really liked this book. Those parts were mainly due to me having this tiny part in my brain that loves the super cheesy girly moments. That is why this book received two stars instead of one. I will give the second book a chance when it comes out. I just hope the author grows up a little in the author notes.(Sorry it just really annoys me)
The Fault in Our Stars - John Green I need to start this review by saying that I am a child cancer survivor myself! I truly commend John Green for this book. While I was sick I received an abundance of cheesy child cancer books that always had the same motto," You are strong! You can fight this!" Now this is not me saying that I didn't want to fight, it is simply the fact that most of these books grossly miss the feelings of the patient! In Green's novel he really shed a light on the inner monologue of a cancer child. So many of Hazel's thoughts made me laugh and sometimes want to cry! He really hit all the emotions I experienced. I don't think I could ever thank John Green enough for this book! Thank you John for representing my feelings so perfectly
